From Woolwich Polytechnic School I Played in the London Schools Symphonic Band and then London Youth Symponic Band playing Baritone Sax. I started session work when I left school, and played with bands like Squeeze in Concert + Local recording studios. I moved up to the north and played in rock bands like "The Note", as well as Hurworth Concert Band in Darlington. When I first moved up here I helped teach kids at Langbaurgh School in the school band. I also took the kids on school day trips. I then had to stop playing due to ill health and after a break for a few years I have started up again.
